Tajine Wedding

When Camille and Yann first reached out to me, I instantly felt drawn to their sparkling, joyful energy. High-school sweethearts and new parents, they dreamed of a wedding that felt just like them, full of life, deeply sincere, and overflowing with love.

To bring that vision to life, they privatized all 25 rooms of Kasbah Le Mirage, transforming it into their very own home for the weekend. The discreet and impeccable service made everyone feel instantly at ease, as if they were celebrating in their own family house.

With Yann’s mother being Moroccan, choosing Marrakech was a heartfelt tribute to his roots. And truly, the celebration began long before the vows,  from the lively plane ride to the cheerful bus that brought everyone to the hotel, the atmosphere felt like a joyful summer camp for grown-ups.

The weekend opened with an all-white welcome cocktail, but on the wedding day, guests embraced a warm, earthy dress code. Shades of terracotta, ochre, and sun-washed tones blended beautifully with the landscape. Only Yann’s mother wore the traditional green takchita, a deeply symbolic color in the Arab world.

The ceremony took place on the terrace, filled with meaningful symbols. It ended with a heartfelt moment: guests tossed small balls of yarn toward the couple, weaving together a symbolic blanket — a beautifully poetic gesture linking family and friends.

With my Black Swans, we approached the décor with intention, weaving those same warm tones throughout the entire celebration. The dinner was, of course, fully Moroccan, fragrant, generous, and absolutely delicious.

And the party… lasted until 7 a.m.!
Yet somehow, everyone was awake before noon, determined not to miss the exceptional Moroccan brunch.

A weekend full of joy, color, heritage, and connection, just like Camille and Yann themselves.
